Education Remains the Bedrock of Any Society: Moulders Foundation Hosts 2025 CBE Scholarship Awards

There is no gain saying that education remains the bedrock of any meaningful society, and every responsible government must make it a top priority.


This was reaffirmed during the grand finale and cheque presentation ceremony of the 2025 Computer-Based Examination (CBE) Scholarship Competition for JSS 3 and SSS 3 students, themed: “Transition from Traditional Exams to Digital Testing, Empowering Students for Tomorrow.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Samson Oladele Afolayan, Founder/Convener of The Moulders Foundation, in partnership with Dr. (Barr.) Tolu Adekola, described the just-concluded CBT scholarship exam as a dream come true and a timely initiative to sharpen the minds of the younger generation.

In an interview with Hope FM News, Guest Speaker Mr. Oladiran Oluwadamilola, Visionary and Lead Instructor at Deodat Innovation Space, emphasized the urgent need for Nigeria’s education system to embrace digital innovation.

According to him, Education is evolving rapidly, and our assessment systems must evolve with it. Digital testing is no longer a luxury but it's a necessity.

He urged all stakeholders and government authorities to invest in digital infrastructure, create forward-thinking policies, and allocate adequate funding to improve learning outcomes.

Beneficiaries of the scholarship expressed deep appreciation, describing the program as a rare opportunity and a capacity-building platform.

Speaking on behalf of the Organizers, The Team Head, and Founder of The Moulders Foundation, Evang. Oladele Samson Afolayan maintained that the Reason for his Selfless Service and Helping hands based on the Recent Crisis in the Country, most Especially the Recent Development in the Education Sector to Train and Provide Students with Basic tool to pass Examinations.

Speaking with newsmen, The Principal of Ilesa Grammar School, Mrs. Mummamed, also applauded the initiative, commending both partners as proud alumni of the school. She described the scholarship as a welcome development and a form of giving back to society, praying for greater success in future phases.

Parents and guardians present appreciated the Moulders Foundation and Dr. Tolu Adekola for their commitment to youth development and urged them to continue in their philanthropic efforts.

The first phase of the CBT Scholarship Examination, held on Friday Nov. 27 and concluded in 12th December ,2025 at Ilesa Grammar School, featured 20 participants from JSS 3 and SSS 3.

Dignitaries at the finale included members of the Ilesa Grammar School Alumni Association, the school’s staff, and the Moulders Foundation team.

Highlights of the event included inspirational lectures, musical interludes, and the presentation of cheques to winning students.

The next edition of the Moulders Foundation Helping hands is expected to come up next year.
