Ikun youth and elders attack Monarch, Oba Olokunbola Adedoyin Onikun of Ikun at his palace. This engulfed when he made the decision to convert to Christianity and claiming to be a born again Christian.
This happened at Ikun-Akoko, Akoko southwest Local Government, Ondo state.
Youth accused the monarch for not performing some necessary sacrifice, rituals according to the rules, norms and tradition of the land which leads to some disasters in the land such as premature death of their children and some villagers.
They stormed the street with palm leaves, placards to show their grievance, burnt the fueling station, leaving an attendant injured.
The protesters threatened to kill the King and his prince.
Police confirmed that some people has been arrested and arranged for court.
