Wednesday the eight day of February 2023, was an historic day and moment as the lawmaker representing Ayedaade/Irewole/Isokan federal constituency, Hon. Taiwo Olukemi Oluga commissioned a block of three classroom initiated and facilitated by her office(National Assembly) at African Church Grammar School Apomu,in Isokan local government area of Osun state.
The newly constructed a block of three classrooms was named after "Late Otunba Sola Arabambi" a candidate of the People's Democratic Party PDP who died recently.
According to Hon.Taiwo Olukemi Oluga "the gesture is in honour and remembrance of the illustrious son of Apomu who contributed immensely and positively too to the development of his town, the Federal constituency and humanity at large.
The national law maker maintained that death is an inevitable end for all mortal.
She prayed God Almighty to grant the family of the deceased and the entire Apomu community the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
At the epoch making event, Hon Taiwo Oluga urged students and teachers alike, to take good care of government facilities in their care,also promised to keep giving priority attention to educational related matters in her constituency.
She advised her constituents to desist from politics of violence and bitterness.
Hon. Taiwo Oluga at the all inclusive Programme solicited the votes of the Mammoth crowd at the event for Asiwaju Bola Hammed Tinubu, herself and other candidates of her party "APC" in the general elections billed for the twenty fifth of February 2023.
She described the 2023 general election as a ballot revolution to liberate the entire people.
Hon. Mrs Taiwo Oluga expressed gladness with the presence of the paramount ruler of Apomu, Oba Kayode Adenekan(Atoyebi II), Apomu in Council, the students of African Church Grammar School Adifa, Apomu, representatives of NUT, religious and political leaders and the good people of Apomu who graced the occasion.
She stressed that the project is another significant milestone in her commitment to providing qualitative and functional education for the teeming students and pupils of her constituency, through the provision of the needed infrastructures,learning aid and instructional materials.
The national law maker enjoined the student to shun vices capable of truncating their future,but rather guide jealousy government properties at their disposal.
Hon. Oluga, whose mother was a teacher several years back, commended the untiring efforts of teachers,while moulding and shaping the students for all their future endeavors.
Earlier in his welcome address,the host,who is also the APC elected chairman of Isokan local government,Hon Olagoke Odetunde described Hon. Oluga as a God sent, who has a large heart and the love of her people at heart at all times .
Hon. Odetunde a former student of African Church Grammar school, Apomu maintained that Hon. Oluga has been able to lessened the burden of the present students of the school with the provision of the classroom building project.
Principal "one" and "two" of the school Mr Abiodun Rotimi and Mrs Fawibe showered encomium of the house of representative member for her kind gestures from the beginning of her tenure towards the school.
The duo stressed that with the provision of a block of three classrooms and furniture's, Hon. Oluga has really met the most pressing need of the school.
Hon. Taiwo Oluga and her entourage were earlier accorded warm reception by the students of African Church Grammar school Apomu,who cannot hide their joy with the presence of the national law maker and her entourage in their midst.
