Osun State governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, has suspended Rector of Osun State College of Technology, Esa Oke,Dr. Samson Akinbamide Omobayo Adegoke.
The suspension became effective after the executive order of the state governor who was sworn-in ,bearly twenty-Four Hours as the 6th executive governor of Osun.

Recalled that the immediate past governor of the state, Gboyega Oyetola approved the appointment of Dr Adegoke as substantive rector of the institution last month, October.
Also, Dr. Tajudeen Adewale Odetayo was announced rector of Osun State Polytechnic Iree after serving in acting capacity for few months.

According to Adeleke in his executive order said “My Good People of Osun, since you elected me as your Governor on the 16th of July 2022, which the INEC announced on July 17th 2022, the former Governor, Alh Isiaka Gboyega Oyetola maliciously started putting road blocks to make things difficult and almost impossible for the new administration to serve you.
